Criminal Justice: Capital Punishment and Juvenile Offenders The U.S. Supreme Court is set to examine the issue of the death penalty for children that are between the ages of 16 and 18 when they commit their crimes. America and Iran are the only countries known to use the death penalty for teenage offenders. In America only three states have executed juvenile offenders in the last ten years, Oklahoma, Texas, and Virginia.
